Honestly, it feels like it ought to be called Bluehosts wpbeginner. Every single guide they provide has step-by-step instructions for using bluehosts. Sometimes, they might throw in some tips for other hosting services, but that’s pretty rare. And on the odd occasion, they’ll mention self-hosting, but only to bash it and push bluehosts as the best option.

I've reached a point where I steer clear of wpbeginner whenever I search for WordPress help. I understand that bluehosts sponsors them, so they have to give them a shout-out, and that’s cool in theory. But the way they structure all their guides around this sponsorship really irks me. It feels like they’ve sold out, and I’m not a fan of having that shoved in my face every time I look for WordPress answers.

This website is filled with popups, advertisements, and annoying content. It's kinda funny that it's all about WordPress sites, yet they aren't doing a great job with their own!
